North River Care opened in 1998 and has served over 2,000 girls, facing a crisis pregnancy. Our main goal is to reach out to girls and their families who are facing a crisis and feel like they have no hope.
We offer hope to everyone who walks through our doors and encouragement throughout the process of pregnancy and post-pregnancy. We don’t ever want anyone to feel scared or alone during a crisis pregnancy. We believe that with the help of Jesus Christ, proper education and support, every girl can make it through an unplanned pregnancy. We will walk with you, every step of the way and help in every way possible.
Our mission is to show compassion, give assistance, be relational and offer education:
Compassion:
We seek to love each client and compassion, understanding and care without judging.
Assistance:
We seek to assist each client with material goods, educational needs and resources available in our community.
Relational:
We seek to help each client build healthy relationships with others by learning to communicate, by raising self esteem and by support throughout the pregnancy and beyond.
Education:
We seek to educate and inform our clients about each of their options. We then offer educational classes and support in pregnancy, giving birth, parenting and adoption.
